Patience, Peace & Boundaries

What skills or lessons have you learned recently?

Recently, I’ve learned the skill of patience—especially with people. I’m learning not to overreact to situations, not to let overthinking take a toll on how I perceive things, and to accept people and situations as they are. Giving time and space instead of reacting emotionally has helped me respond more calmly and thoughtfully.

One important lesson I’ve learned is that blood relation doesn’t automatically mean family. True family is defined by good intentions, respect, and genuine care. Someone who is envious of you or your immediate family can never truly be a well-wisher, regardless of how closely they’re related. In such cases, the healthiest choice is to emotionally distance yourself—to let go and accept that not everyone deserves access to your life. Fake people and snakes no longer exist in my bubble, and their lives hold no significance to me. Often, such people just want to keep tabs on you, be nosy, and secretly compete with you. It’s up to you to decide what to tolerate and what to block out. Remember, literally no one has it perfect in life—you need to focus on doing you.

The Weight of Being Sensitive in a Hard World

What is one thing you would change about yourself?

People often say sensitivity is a weakness, but living with a soft heart in a sharp world is anything but easy. Being sensitive means you feel deeply — joy, pain, love, loss — all of it hits a little harder and stays a little longer. It’s a beautiful trait, yet it can feel like a burden when life stops protecting you the way it once did.

I used to think my sensitivity came from growing up surrounded by love and care. Maybe that safety made me soft. Maybe it allowed me to live in a bubble where emotions were understood instead of judged. But when life shifted — when I lost the person who always caught my emotional falls — I realized the world doesn’t cushion you the same way. It can be cruel, indifferent, and unforgiving.

Being sensitive suddenly feels dangerous, like walking through life without armor.

But here’s what I’m slowly learning: sensitivity isn’t something to erase. It just needs boundaries. It needs maturity. It needs strength behind it. Feeling deeply doesn’t make you weak — it means you’re alive, human, and capable of connection in a way many people aren’t.

I don’t want to stop being sensitive.

I just want to learn how to carry it better — without letting the world break my softness.

Peace💟

November is a reminder

As the year begins to wind down, November arrives with a quiet kind of wisdom. It asks us to pause—to breathe, reflect, and honor the journey we’ve taken so far.

This year may not have been easy. For many of us, it’s carried loss, heartache, and moments that felt heavier than words could hold. The chaos, the calm, the endings we didn’t expect, and the beginnings we didn’t plan—all of it has shaped us. Even the pain has purpose, even the grief has taught us something about love, resilience, and what truly matters.

November isn’t about rushing to the finish line; it’s about recognizing how far we’ve come. It’s about holding space for the joy and the sorrow, the light and the shadow, and realizing that both can exist together.

Now, with only a few more days left until 2026, let this be your reminder: make them count. Life is fragile, unpredictable, and precious. Do what you want with your days—follow what brings you peace, chase what sparks your spirit, and love deeply, because love is what endures.

I may not know what 2026 will bring, but I do know this — I’m still standing, still learning, still becoming. And maybe that’s enough.
